Why do businesses contract with ITPM for drug training?

The answer is simple: It's about the bottom line.

Drug and alcohol abuse at the workplace is a bottom-line issue for employers, and no workplace is immune to it. Employers have a vested interest in eliminating the problem.

Recognizing the importance of protecting their bottom lines against drug and alcohol abuse, employers have begun implementing drug-and-alcohol-free workplace programs. They have spread from the federal government and large corporations to small businesses. In addition, the expansion of private-sector programs has been driven by several mandates, including the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988.

These programs intend to prevent substance abuse among the workforce and within the workplace. Toward this end, these programs provide a full continuum of substance abuse education and prevention resources, including:

bulletemployee drug-awareness education programs
bulletsupervisor drug-awareness education program
bulletinformation on drug testing
bulletinformation on legal issues
bulletconstructive remediation skills for supervisors

While there is no ideal blueprint for workplace drug-awareness education programs we do know that credible information about the consequences of drugs and their immediate effects is paramount. Active involvement of the entire workplace strengthens and reinforces the awareness message of drug and alcohol prevention.

ITPM offers your workplace a variety of comprehensive drug-awareness educational and alcohol programs, all with a clear and consistent message --DRUG ABUSE EFFECTS THE BOTTOM LINE.
